Bro tities....i would stick to the zeovit reactor. If ur system has no algae despite ur heavy feeding, means its pretty much stabilized in terms of biological aspect. I wouldn't change around too much, unless u would rather have a system that is fully automated (no need to shake shake everyday). Also, the fact u have plenty of live rocks in dt and sump probably helps alot in the biological breakdown. Usually a refugium with macro algae works best with the high nutrient from fish poo to fuel growth, but you will need the space in sump to really grow those macroalgae. Alternatively, i see many Fowlr tanks using biopellets.
