The ‘Conserving our Corals' T-Shirt Design Competition aims to increase public awareness of the coral conservation activities of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA). From the FAQs on the Competition http://bit.ly/1cWjTmC MPA has supported and worked in partnership with marine experts and public volunteers to conserve local coral colonies around Sultan Shoal Lighthouse. This is part of the efforts in minimising the environmental impact of the new Tuas Terminal developments. To-date, 2,300 coral colonies have been relocated to three sites at St John’s Island and Sisters’ Islands. Coral nurseries have also been set up at Lazarus Island and Kusu Island to enhance the coral biodiversity in Singapore.   2. i find smaller clam harder to keep instead of bigger one, as i read that it require more frequent feeding compare to bigger one which can depend on light source as food.
  3. If you wanted dead rock , why not just buy dead rock directly instead of " Live " one? This will save you plenty much of money as well in your pocket . The live rock mean it is already fill with live like sponges ect and bacteria that could help seed an aquarium . When i decomm my old tank, in order to store the rock i have no choice but to kill it by soaking in freshwater and sun it so that i can keep it for future use.
