  1. I also thought of that, still wondered bcoz of 2 things : this morning when I left, nemo is very healthy and active as always. also, he doesn't host this anemone yet, and he doesn't even go to that area where the anemone is, which is midway up the rocks.
  2. Hi, just a while ago when I arrived, I saw this : I don't think the anemone will swallow nemo ... but I also can't imagine nemo to just force her way in anemone's mouth ... Sad ... any ideas ? Thanks.

  6. Hi, WTG healthy blue tang, itch free, ~3.5 inch. Messing and bossing around in my tank now. Been with me for over a year already. Just some little shreds in tail due to his naughtiness. Already caught, so for takers I would request immediate collection to not cause stress. Collection in AMK area. Whatsapp me at 85222862.
  7. haha i'm also not sure also if that's a good idea ... i've tried to introduce a 3rd mandarin to my mated pair previously ... ended up selling the mandarin away. i tried adding another male, always bullied by the paired-male. SOLD. tried adding another female (harlem?), bullied up by the paired-female. SOLD. maybe will be ok for a 4-5 footer.
  8. food is one thing, but fighting - yes they do bro, with their likes (not with other fishes), even if they are slow. and believe me, when they fight, it's even much harsh than others, coz they tend to use they're special lips to bite and grip hard, and don't let go, and you'd see the other mandarin squirming slowly but can't get off. keep your fingers crossed .... it's still possible i asked LFS before if i can keep a target mandarin, but i do have a dragonet one as well, and was advised 'maybe', but better not. best to keep at most mated pair only i think.
  9. +1 .... i thought ur not supposed to mix them, specially if your tank is not really big ... are ur mandarins pellet eaters or just pods ?
  10. lol .... thing is, i didn't see it again ... also not sure how to catch it. i guess just wait for it to grow ....
  11. thanks. the color of it even without playing the vid already reveals it as the 'fireworm' ... that's definitely a no-no ....
  12. Thanks. I actually thought that it might ba a bobbit at first. I saw this video in the link already, plus another 'monster' on youtube ... doesn't look exactly like this, though these are adults already compared to what I saw ... thanks, for now just keeping a look out, seems always in the same hole. Catching bristle worms, I stalk themduring lights out, using a 1-foot tweezer. once they are almost totally out, i just make sure i grab it in the middle of the length, and don't yank out fast, they mght break into two, or they are able to squeeze out and slither back, i just kept a grip and slowly remove them. I've read some using plastic soda bottles - cut the bottle where it strats to taper, reverse it and glue it back into the bigger body piece, then put food / shrimp or something to attract them to go inside. once inside, they can't go out. haven't tried it though.
  13. Hi, recently I had posted of clearing my tank of about 40+ bristle worms, and now I see only about 10 during lights out, so I guess I have to control my feeding to not cause another population explosion. Earlier, I saw another worm, but not sure what it is. Tried to take a pic, but was very fast, always speedily going in it's tunnel. I tried drawing it, look somehow like this : There are about 4 antennae, and the color is actually white, with some sort of black stripes. At least the portion that came out is about 1-in long, about 2mm diameter, body looks round and with legs (not flat body and spikes like bristle), body still looks segmented .... Will try to snap a pic when I can. Thanks.
  14. Maybe just move to New tank syndrome lol ... Just observe next few days
  15. Are they new in your tank ? If not, any changes you did recently ? Previously when my clowns were new, same thing. Easily for the first week they grab the pellets and spit them out .... After that, they were already ok. Though when I try to feed a different type of pellet, they spit it out again.
  16. not sure as well ... unless there are certain conditions that they will motivate them to multiply so much, andthere are no predators for them in my tank
  17. lol ... better watch em get eaten ... otherwise if not, some kid might suddenly pick them up ... OUCH !?!?!
  18. Did a major overhaul, so I had to remove all LRs ... after leaving the LRs out of the water for an hour or so, they came out, so just tweezed them with my 1-foot tweezer. Now during lights out, I still see over 10 or so (big ones that are obvious), so past 2 nights with the same long tweezer I just grab them and pluck them out. So far caught another 5 big ones .... the smaller ones I see i just leave them ... hard to catch anyway. Release ? I don't think so ... For one I don't think they will survive unless you release them in the sea ... which also won't be a wise choice I guess.
  19. Thanks. I guess just throw em away ... still have some I see during lights out anyway
