Hi all, sadly my livestock have been suffering months of neglect due to my work commitments and i have been battling algae issues on top of other things. In the interest of the well-being of my livestock, i think i have no choice but to let some of them go as i move the rest to a temporary tank and redo my main display tank. Do note that the corals mentioned here are damaged (have receded, also some algae growth) and hence i am letting them go cheap. If you can restore them to their former glory, more power to you. Maybe I can buy a frag back from you one day when my tank is re-stabilised. The fish are healthy and happy, though. Please come to Pasir Panjang to deal or nearby, as I don't want to risk moving the corals around too much since they're already not doing well. PM me for more info, thanks. 4" Elegance - $15 Used to open almost 1 foot wide but now receded a bit into the skeleton and doesn't open up much any more, sad. Photo taken under actinic, pale purple and green under white light. Unknown prata? - $10 I actually have no idea what this is. Some bros suggested it might be some kind of humble prata. 2 heads super sun coral plus pingpong ball-sized cluster - $10 Actually 3 different super sun species. 1 head of a pure yellow with clear tentacles, 1 head of yellow base, orange head and yellow tentacles. Finally the unfortunate cluster (also yellow, orange, yellow) below is reduced to its skeleton but small polyps still remain. Will have to be fed with reef roids or similar powder foods as the polyps are as small as pin heads. I have also done this with feeder fish also, except for fish I try my best to euthanize them quickly by shocking them to death in ice cold water, then removing the obviously diseased ones before I finally marinate with garlic extract and freeze them. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

If you're not squeamish, what you could try (I did this for my other predators, not lions though) is to buy live feeder shrimp, gutload them with some pellet food, then quickly put them into a plastic bag and throw into the freezer. The freezing will kill any parasites in the shrimp. For added guarantee, you can add seachem garlic extract to "marinate" the frozen shrimp later on to entice your lion to eat. When you need it, just pick one or two shrimp out of the freezer bag, shrimp defrosts quickly. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

Hi all, selling my 2ft IOS tank. Measurements are 2 x 1.5 x 1.5 ft. IOS section is generous at about 15 cm deep. Lazy to scrape off the coralline algae so selling cheap at $40. I have 2 eunice worms in my tank, each about 1 foot long. Gave up on catching them and just left them alone... Good clean up crew until they reach monster size lol

Hi bro, imo you should set up especially if you're planning to buy livestock from LFS because you can never be sure if the fish you buy have any diseases that can wipe out your whole tank. Just a small tank with simple filter will do. If you mainly get from fellow hobbyists it might be less chance of disease since they've been keeping it a while but you can never be sure. Hi all, looking to free up space in my sump so giving away some live rock rubble. Various small pieces ranging from thumb to half fist-sized. I think enough to fill a small pail. Also comes with a carpet of GSP that I threw there but ended up bonding with some live rock. You can slowly peel it off and stick on your tank wall if you desire for the "wall of GSP" look. Hi bros, i have just upgraded my setup to a proper 4 ft with cabinet and sump. With space to properly do maintenance at last, I transferred sand and rock from 3 different tanks into the 4ft but of course ended up crating a huge cloud storm of dirt. I used filter wool with the sump but i realised that while it traps detritus very well, i have to take out the wool to rinse all the gunk out every 2 days and while doing that, i end up releasing some of the dirt back into the system that clouds up the water and it feels like i'm slapping myself. Hence I'm thinking of using a filter sock to make my life easier, but have no experience with them and am not sure what micron size is too big or too small. Any recommendation for a micron size that will effectively trap small detritus particles? Thanks for the help!
