  1. Thanks Ken Yee. Yeah he is the biggest in my tank now. He is literally almost half size bigger than my yellow tang which was the same size when i bought them together.
  2. Currently I have a problem with my sailfin tang. He eats way too much. Whenever I feed the fishes, he is the only one who gobbles everything continuously. I am not worried that the other fishes dont get enough but I am afraid that he over eats. He is the fattest fish and his body width is twice that of his tail thickness. He is still healthy and swimming around. However I know over eating is bad. Is there a way to curb his eating? Also I just got a foureyed butterfly fish yesterday. I understand that it is almost impossible to keep due to its sensitivity. Any tips on that as well?
  3. Noted. Was on a budget for this tank though. But as you know...when time flies...you start getting more equipments. Will check up on ro equipment prices. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

  5. Ah I get what you mean. Will save up for an overflow box. Thanks for the tip. Anyways pointing my wave maker to the top does the trick for now...but will it be harmful for my fishes? Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

  10. My tank is 3ft. Currently I have 2 wave makers, 1 1000v and the other 2000v. For awhile now the surface of my water seems to be brown. And when I scoop water out brown algae-ish stuff gets onto my cup and anything in contact. For example certain ends of the tank might have tiny brown bubbles forming. I understand wave makers get the aeration of the water surface in order to make it more clear. Is my amount enough or is there something I should change. It is a fowlr tank. All the fishes seems to be doing well. No deaths for the past 1 month. Tank has been running since November. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

  13. Thanks Tuajia for your kind words.
  14. Ah I see. That explains it. The fishes in my tank can be abit mean...especially my sailfin and yellow tang. There are days when they get along well and some when they chase each other. I was worried if it was a hitch hiker. Gave up catching mantis shrimp. After catching 3, I hear clicking sounds again. But the others seem to be doing well. Heres a pic of my tank.
  15. I think it is called a Yeti crab. Quite easy to remove, it just stayed there when I lowered my net. It is strong enough to move your rocks and rearrange them or any corals. I have seen my lift up a 500g rock. How about mantis shrimp? I am always having a problem with that. How do you get rid of your hitch-hikers. I heard soaking the LR in salinity of 0.040 helps flush them out but haven tried.
