  11. Since you are keeping a mixed reef then you should just go for the normal blue bucket....coral pro is more for lps tank where dkh is kept higher at the 11-12 range. When choosing salt just find one that have parameters close to that of what you keep for your tank to avoid large swings during a water change. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

I see...thanks for the offer but i guess my feeding regime for my fishes should already be more than sufficient. The reason why im dosing nitrate was actually an attempt to reduce phosphate rather than actually providing food for the corals. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

Not much diffrence noticed(might just stop after ive finished the 1kg)....used calcium nitrate cuz i think amino contains phosphate too and amino not cheap. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

  18. Yes you should....mechanical filter is important for trapping fish waste. But do make sure you change them out often....the reason why some people say its better not having mechanical filtration is because some of us do not change out the filter frequent enough which would allow the fish waste to decompose. So mechanical filter have to be change out frequently to be more efficient. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
