  1. commonly called “drill” snails, these hail from the family muricidae. I am sorry for being late but if they’re sighted in your tank i suggest you remove them immediately as their name implies, they’re predators and will drill holes into other snails such as CUCs like trochus and nassarius snails, leak acid into the holes and suck their flesh out.   2. a snail from the family turbinidae, all of which are herbivorous so it is possible that the snail could be eating algae or detritus off your coral. I believe that the one in the picture is turbo bruneus as it looks rather small. There also seems to be a limpet stuck to its shell which is also herbivorous. Both make a good clean up crew for nuisance algae.
  3. technically they do contain conches but the only ones i seem to find are those gong gong conches (laevistrombus canarium) pasir ris beach also has an insane number of wild cerith and nassarius snails but they seem to only eat actual dead fish rather than flake food Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
