Hie Churm.
Not sure whether a cuke would remove these cyno bacteria.
In my opinion I think you should solve the CAUSE of the problem and not the symptoms of it. Using a phosphate remover(Trust worthy one like ROWAphos) should help. Excess nutrients (due to overfeeding, dead fishes) in your tank may also be a cause of it. Lack of flow may also be a cause. A tang in ur nano may also be a cause of this as they are known to 'poo' alot.
Just my 0.02 cents
According to an article i came across on garf.org, the smaller the cutting the better it would be as they would be able to better adapt. I've personally cut off a frag of about half and inch off my dying leather in the past, and it worked for me.
My question here is whether there are plastics which are poisonous to reef life.
Read in recent readers digest that certain plastic(can't rmb the name) are poisonous to squids.
Many thnx for all who help
Would there be exceptional cases?
Had this pomcanthus for about 1.5 month and it hasn't touch any LPS or soft coral in the tank.
Wouldn't want to try my luck also
