  1. Good to have the new comer bigger in size. Mine emperor when added to the tank with the blue face was slightly bigger, but both is getting along fine.
  2. What happened to the pics?....cannot view.
  3. I have tried introducing new fishes to my established tank, but always failed. All the original occupants will attack the new comer, be it big or small. Give up liao. Must wait till I start up another tank next time. Good luck to yours.
  4. Sorry about your bannerfish. Bought mine at about 5 cm, kept it in a self made fish trap, slowly trained it to feed on frozen Brine Shrimp, and when I was sure that it has started to eat for a week or so, I freed the fish from the trap. It has since grown up to about 15 cm now on a diet of frozen Brine Shrimp and frozen Mysis Shrimp.
  5. Mine no problem without chiller for a year and a half. Fishes have grown big and healthy.
  6. I like the way you arranged the rocks.....layered with lots of hiding places for the fishes....well done!
  7. Hello everyone, I wanted to know more about sumps: number of compartment, medium used to fill the different compartments, and also, what other equipments are used together with sumps and which compartment are these equipment added in the flow of the sump. Are there any differences with sumps for tanks with corals and tanks with FOWLR? Can anyone direct me to any good reading material?....Or can share with me your experience with sumps? Thanks.
  8. Yeap, me using Seachem Marine buffer too.
  9. Only added Marine Buffer to maintain the PH in my tank when I top up water. Skimmer and good water flow is important. I have quited monitoring the other parameters....but I change 1/3 water monthly.....fishes are healthy and growing.
  10. Nice job with these beautiful and gentle creature of the sea.
