thanks ! that is because.. too expensive !

since my mother is going to china for business trip soon , I have asked them to deliver to her place. And by buying there .. its.. cheap :/ ( was abit surprise of the price )

Furthermore , have seen good reviews on it ! And I have seen a reefer using 1 pharos 90w for his 2ft cube , and it looks GREAT ! The specs is great too for the price !

So decided to try !

specs of 1 pharos 90w LED

- 4 X Cree XPE Blue

12 X Cree XPE Royal Blue

2 X CREE XPG Warm White

6 X CREE XPG Neutral White

you can also swap any led you want with choices of CREE XPG Cool White, UV, Green, Red LEDs.

I'm planning of swapping 2 blue for cree UV on 1 light set , that makes 4 UV cree on my 2 pharos. what you think ? :drunk:

Led choice looks good. At least they used neutral and warm white instead of cool white alone. Swapping the Blue for violet led (not uv) I'd a good choice.

hmmm... i think they are violet led but they called it uv.

done googling in reefcentral, nanoreefs and stuffs , have found out that its not really UV but violet.

sometthing about 400nm and below is considered uv but above is violet.

anyway , will check with PHAROS

oh , what cabinet height do you guys recommend ??

my tallest equipment is already the skimmer. 56cm. so i think... somewhere around 80~90 cm tall will be ideal ??

from my very limited knowledge of LED, theres no UV leds but only True violet or hyper violet. get the violet in 420 - 430nm which i think is the best for corals.

Great choice.. Don't think will delay. Mine came on time despite heavy rain. No idea about the silicon.. Buy I would rather have green/brown silicon den black.

90-100cm will be ideal, not too high, not too low,

ample space for sump, easier to do work.

My cabinet is 90cm

I think should be no problem i guess! Water volume will decrease alot since the rocks, and substrate took up alot space. And the sump, is not full of water. Maybe roughly only 378~400 litres of water ? Haha
