Hi,

i have notice that some reefer still posting topics with very brief info (i mean really very brief) this could be due to the fact that they didnt read thru the pinned threads and made such mistakes.

I would suggest the admin to send PM to all members with attached (rules n regulations on posting) to ensure all had read thru. This will be good to ensure more harmony in this forum

Jus a suggestion only...... ;)

good suggestion!!! I second it.

Suggestion 2: moderators could allow the thread creator to modify the thread title?? (i myself am guilty of type too fast and forgot to include detailed title before)

:D

hMm.. can always edit after posting.. but the edit function will be gone after awhile.. but if a user do not know how to post the topic correctly.. edit function also wont help much..

True.. look at this typical example:

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

Even if mass PM could be done, there will still be new comers every now and then. They will not received such PMs.

I think its a better idea to allow the title be edited, either by the originator or the admin.

maybe new members will be notified once they register..... ;)
