Haha Snoopy's FTW meant For The Win. Meaning nothing beats those fishes he mentioned.

Hmm.. I've seen some fire fishes schooling especially when there's like 6-7 of them together. But not sure if is their natural habit.

Blue eye cardinals school together swee n cheap, my experience with anthias is that after awhile they get aggressive towards each other:(

What is the pricing for blue green chromis & Anthias fish??

There are many species of anthias (pseudanthias). Many of which found commonly in our LFS are quite difficult to keep alive and i wont recommend them to new reefers. One such fish that i will avoid is pseudanthias tuka (purple queen anthias). Without heavy feeding the fish perish very quickly in captivity. Others not recommended ones include pasculus, smithvanizi, evansi, flavoguttatus etc. For cheap and easy one, i strongly recommend pseudanthias squampinnis (blue-eye lyretail anthias).

Green chromis is a good schooling fish to keep. They are cheap and relatively easy. About 10% or so will die of shipping stress or transport stress, after that the rest that survive will do very well. There are actually two species of green chromis that we commonly find in the LFS and they are chromis viridis and chromis atripectoralis. Both are very similar looking (almost identical and even very experienced reefers can get confused) and relatively easy in terms of care.
