Bought a Moorish idol on New Year day

He is pellet trained in lfs

Today first time seeing him tear Seaweed from the vege clip, maybe after observing his tank mates at the clip for the past 4 days... Simply love this fish!

Today is Week 10 since setup

Decided to take a picture side view

One issue I face is that always have salt deposits at the side where the return outflow is blowing

Is the pump too strong?

Even if I adjust the direction to the front, there will also be salt deposit after some time

Anyone of you facing the same problem?

For the salt deposit on the euro bracing is normal due to the agitation of the water surface..the higher the agitation the faster salt deposit will form due to water vapour mist..mine form on all sides of the euro bracing..clean regularly lo..:)

It's officially 3 months since set up

Clearing some corals to make way for some SPS

Old sps are slowly encrusting onto rocks and colouring up

New sps which I just added, seem to be losing colour... Is this normal?

My nutrients are :

Nitrate 2-5ppm

Phosphate 0.03

Hopefully with zeovit stones, nutrients will drop to 2ppm for nitrate, at the same time don't want Lps to suffer...

Also on a project to make a mesh cover as I have lost a few fishes committing suicide..

I have the mesh which I ordered online, now laising my metal factory client to help me make the stainless steel frame...
