SRC Member marineph Posted January 18, 2015 SRC Member Share Posted January 18, 2015 Hi, Great collection of fishes and vibrant colours too! All very actively swimming... How long you took to collect all these fishes from 1st fish to the current? Just wanted to ask how you handle/quarantine them before introduce into the DT... Thanks! How long you took to collect all these fishes from 1st fish to the current? Just wanted to ask how you handle/quarantine them before introduce into the DT... Thanks! My first fish in this tank is the blue tang and the clown tang. It should be around 18 months ago. Both I bought it at the size of only an inch. Now it has grown till around 6 inches. The first few months of this tank, I dont have any quarantine system, thus resulting in many, many casualties. Now I have a 2ft tank for quarantine purpose. Depends on the price of the fish and the lfs I buy from will determine how long I quarantine it. I don't really trust my 2ft tank to handle pricey fish. Thanks for asking ! Do you use Copper in the DT? Did I see a Gem among the beauties?
