SRC Member Ahhyi Posted January 22, 2015 SRC Member Share Posted January 22, 2015 It looks like something is nipping on it too. Do you have anything that might possible be nipping it? I dipped my clams in FW before I introduce into my tank. Large one goes for about 20-30mins. medium about 10mins. Small ones I just give a quick dip. I only had 1 clam die from a FW dip. but I was already not very healthy too
SRC Member fishcake Posted January 22, 2015 Author SRC Member Share Posted January 22, 2015 I do have a quite a lot of worms in that tank but I am not sure if they are nipping the clam. Good to know that freshwater does not necessarily kill the clam. Have you tried it on clams that already have PM?

SRC Member fishcake Posted January 22, 2015 Author SRC Member Share Posted January 22, 2015 I currently have 2 clownfish in there. The hermit crab does clamber over everything. that might be the cause. I shall try a FW dip anyhow. Thanks for your help!
