Imho, its up to personal preference..I dun like it as it look faked..nowadays, there's more of this fake corals selling in local market n its very colorful..most of RWS sea aquariums are with fake corals.."beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder" :)

there's nothing like natural beauty. even coralline algae is pretty yah. IMHHO :))

Ya probably. Just that I can't have a visual look even I search through the Members Tank and Specs for examples.

So did not dare venture into it but importing those handcrafted corals.

Siam Ocean World in Bangkok is one of the places that uses the artifical corals in some of the most beautiful ways. If you have a chance and visit it since you are keen to use artifical corals.

I'm keeping life corals now, but thinking of changing it to fake as it's hard to maintain and I want to keep non reef safe fish. Anybody knows where to find those fake corals? Haha
