Not sure of the exact scientific name but it's a lime green staghorn.

Some overdue updates, got some sps colonies died off. Started with one colony with brown stains or algae looking stuff covering some tips of the acros. Then more colonies got these. After that rtn occurs. Most likely due to some traces depletion that causes this as I read one of the bro also having similar problems due to iodide and potassium not in range or too much. Quite similar to tip burnts.

Now water has stabilized a bit though some corals has decided to turn brown. I think I might have overdosed on amino acids and vit c as I'm dosing daily. But I'm seeing some signs that colors are slowly returning. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Can't resist stocking up once again when I see my water started stabilizing. One clear sign is all my diatoms are gone after a mth of using af po4-!!

Some pics of my new acquisitions, all from SA. I'm bad at id so I can only guess.

I share your pain too , seeing some of the sps stn or rtn suddenly without knowing the root cause of it especially those prized one or those that had been kept for awhile.

Yes, quite true. Maybe it's my reef keeping skill not there yet. Haha. Life still goes on...

My tank is suffering from a infestation of ulva or sea lettuces. Getting a few more cuc to help eat them but so far none touches them.

Nothing much to update, except adding another fish, yellow tang to see if it eats the ulva but only got chase around by my powder blue tang occasionally. No new corals as well so now time for some random shots, did see a great improvement in color in some of them.

Cherry blossom mid-low area and badabing at high position. Still testing out which place is Gd for them.

I got a salmacis urchin and it started feeding a little on my ulva problem. Fingers crossed.
