What RO/DI filter you got?

I am using tap water with seachem prime for my tank. For the ro water to check refractometer is the liquid come together with it packaging.

I am still wondering...as I am buying RO water from LFS

If your tank is big, getting own RODI filter is more worth it, also you don't have to carry the water...

Diatom only start appear on week 4 and start outbreak this few days. One trochus snail seems not fast enough to clear the algae

How to clean algae on snail? This trochus snail is very hardworking but seems herself also alot algae. Can i took it out and brush it?

Is it normal tank has a lot buble on water? What does it mean?

Don't bother about the algae on the snail , it's normal . Some even grow Coraline algae on the shell that looks pretty.

When you see bubble on the water surface, it only means high nutrients and your skimmer is under performing.

Uh your skimmer is in the first compartment? But it's limewood? Might want to look into a better skimmer

Yeah limewood skimmer, too small compartment for better skimmer. All airstone skimmer is not good enough imo

Those skimmers are as good as nothing.

i rather u take the skimmer out, do more frequent wc.

if u want a skimmer, get those hob skimmer. There are a few really good ones in the market.

HOB skimmer can be very quiet, but HOB Skimmer has some problem if you don't set it up properly.
I am currently using RO BH1000

U can try MAME skimmer. 

Used for my IM 25. Great skimmer for AIO tank.

If not just do a 10 - 20% WC every week, and a 50% WC every month. Then u don't even need a skimmer.

I think the fastest way to remove nitrate is thru water change.

Its been like one month pass but no major thing happen. Change the light and also get a good deal hob skimmer from a nice reefer.
