Good tips given by fellow reefers above.

Just to share :

I have a desktop tank in the study room. About 10 gallons (40L) IOS tank.

- 600L/hr Eheim 600 return pump

- MP10 wavemaker

- Mainly Zoas & GSP which is colorful & easy to keep. Very encouraging for new reefers.

- LED lights

- No chiller but i'd recommend one for better chance of a successful tank - and this enables more coral options that require cooler water.

- A few small fishes like Starry Blenny (to eat algae), Clown fishes.....

- No skimmer. With the bio load & available space for 'desktop' setup, weekly water change is sufficient.

Set up looks something like this

This picture is taken with a yellow lens filter in front of the camera, so colors may appear more intense.

This is the most inspiring tank setup that I m hoping to achieve..salute u bro..

That's a great-looking tank! Though I have to agree that it looks a bit overcrowded. Haha

Anw, is the tank AIO, as in just the tank with all the other stuff behind? What brand is it?

I was looking at the Nuvo 20g tanks... Looks decent for a start. xP

Not sure where to get it though. Saw in the forum that there's only a 10g one up for sale... Anyone has any lobang?

Bro i feel that u can go for custom make tank too..can fit nice nice onto ur existing cabinet or desktop :D

For nano tank, best is to go for IOS tank or canister filter..

I have a 25 gallon im lagoon tank.
Abt 100 litre in total.
Chiller using a hailea hs66.
I upsize it as I dun want the chiller to cut in too often n for too Long.
Making my fish room cooling
Set at 25 degC

Previously coral keep closing and feeling unhappy. Using aquarium fan and a standing fan. My tunze ato keep activated n I keep topping up distilled water. More costly in a Long run.

In the end, think of upsizing to minimise discomfort n CFOs complaining. Cause coral not nice, not open due to high temp.
Enjoying the poison now. Lol.

Hi Eric,
I have the same tank as yours but only 4 months old. Where do you buy your Chiller? By the way your tank looks gorgeous. Thanks.

I am thinking of custom making after trying out nano tanks.

Yeah, I am considering IOS nano tanks such as the Nuvo series. I am just wondering if the stock build will be enough.

Thanks all.

From fresh n marine, Edmund very nice guy. Taught me a lot.

It's a innovative marine 25g lagoon tank. It's an iOS tank.

Behind is the ghost skimmer still running in.

Side is the bubble magus qq1. Using it till my ghost skimmer run in.

Then compare which skim better later. Pro and con.

Using 2 skimmer currently.

Also got light gooseneck for my kessil a360we.

Pretty much all the equipment, sock filter and marine pure sphere.

Chiller power by eheim compact 1000. Just nice to fit in iOS compartment.

If u dun mind second hand tank, can get 2.5 ft tank for a few hundred bucks. With sump some more.

Remove one after one run in finish. Ghost skimmer more stealth. Unless they can't perform

Hi welcome. I have just converted as well. 2months and going strong.
Wasted one month without chiller. I feel it's a must. The power consumption is not a lot if u upsize ur chiller for nano tank. My chiller only run 5 min for every hour.

For basic u can go YouTube and search for brs tv. Bulk reef supply. Under 52 weeks of reefing. It help me a lot to understand reefing in an easy way.

Enjoy the process.

I've started watching the series and I have to say it's really informational. Now I'm really tempted to jump right in...

Check with Edmund of Fresh n Marine heard he is planning to reconfigure his shop layout and may be letting go some of his display IM tanks.

Thanks for the intro. Will check the store out. I go that area so frequently but I didn't even realize that there's such a store there!
