Help!! What disease is this?

Hello,

I came home from work today to discover that my blue tang is unwell. I have been doing quite a lot of fish catching of late and thus it might have been stressed induced. However, I'm unsure what it's suffering from as I have not encountered such a scenario before, I think it is white spot but I may be wrong and was wondering if anyone here can help identify the issue and remedy. I'm worried sick and any help is appreciated thanks!

Yup, its white spot/ich. Best treatment would be to remove it and qt it in copper. If you do not have qt tank, can also try polylab medic (reef safe alternative). If it is feeding still, try to add garlic into the food.

Jon77877 treatment is the same as what I did. Highly recommended. My only addition is add a UV light.

Probably stressed and ich caught him. Yup. Used the same remedy as jon77877. As long as he is eating it's quite hopeful. I will say try leave the tank as it is now and try not to create any disturbance.

Maybe you can try a doctor shrimp. It cleans my fishes at night. Although it doesn't remove itch totally, it kind of keeps the itch spots in control.
