Just received this order from Saltwater Aquarium. Can’t wait to try it out!

Any other users of this refractometer here? I read good reviews about it online and it gives a reading almost instantly!

Very very very nice and clean setup.

How much this gadget cost?

Very nice coral, master class definitely.
Besides the standard big 3, what else are you dosing?
I don't see fishes in your tank? How you manage NO3?

I have 1 digital one. But it always gives me reading 1.021 or 1.020.

Hi Equiox are u also using the digital refractometer from Ice Cap?

I tried mine and it shows 1.022 altho my optical refractometer shows 1.025. I bought it for around 80 USD if I didn’t recall wrongly! It is quite a popular product and has to be pre-ordered online

Hi Mike thanks for the kind compliments! This reef is still a work in progress.

I dose the standard big 3 by dosing pump only. In addition to that, I also dose Red Sea Reef Energy and Polyplab products, however these are done only occasionally about once a week or fortnight and at half recommended dosage.

I have quite a few fishes actually. About 8-10? Maybe they were just hiding when pictures were taken...

I do water changes and have a chaeto reactor to help with nutrient export

Did a water parameter check yesterday and here are the findings:

MG- 1400
CA- 490
KH- 6.9
PO4- 0.00
NO3- 0.5

Guess I have to tune down the dosing of the calcium and magnesium. Also water is perhaps too Low nutrient these days which explains why my chaeto in the reactor is not growing very well...
