Flower pot coral bleaching ???

I got it a about a week ago , the colour was like this ever since . But I had this feeling that’s it has ald been bleaching since then and the lady was trying hard to sell me . Hmm ?

Think the lady sold you the wrong corals as well. Looks like zoas and not gonio. What light are you using?

Yup those are zoas, not flower pot.

zoas don’t exactly bleach like stony corals do, if anything they excrete zooxanthellae from their mouths.

your zoas colony is closed, could be anything from pests(did you do a dip or inspect for pests?), improper lighting acclimatization(is your PAR very high & are the zoas placed high up in your tank?), improper water parameters(they like abit of N & P. What’s your water like?), organisms irritating the colony(do you have nipping fish?) 

can eliminate the possibilities one by one
