May I know how old is ur tank? Cycling done? If still cycling, can add bacteria like Microbacter7 and many other brands of bacteria out there. If cycling done long ago. Water change is fastest, but must still find the root cause. Hope it helps.

If is new tank then u can follow the below, that the way I did to bring down the ammonia and nitrite to 0 after I overstock my tank with fishes...

  1. Small water changes 20 to 25% for every 1 - 2 days (Never use tap water as the nitrite level is high in tap water)
  2. Dose seachem prime to temporary change the free ammonia NH3 to ionised ammonia NH4, only NH3 will kill fish
  3. Dose prodibio biodigest 1 vital per day, I find it more effective than Microbacter7
  4. Add more bacteria hosting media like, marine pure, maxspect or bio-home
  5. Reduce feeding or cut down the food
  6. Stop adding fish and wait for the bacteria to build up

After doing the above for 3 weeks then I see the result...

You can just buy the heinz distilled vinegar selling at NTUC but do make sure u got a gd skimmer to remove the excess waste as vinegar dosing is consider carbon dosing.

How much vinegar should i put in the tank,do i apply daily until all my perimeters stabilise?

There are many good articles on the various methods of carbon dosing and dosage based on water volume online. If ur tank is new and though the high measurements, u don’t see anything wrong with the corals and fish. Maybe it’s a good idea to stick to the traditional way of WC and less feeding while the tank is stabilized.

Heard of many tank crashes from fellow refeers with carbon dosing. Not doubting that it works and it’s the fastest way. But in ur case, may be a good idea to just wait out. My 1 cent...

Before you start vinegar dosing. Take your PO4 and NO3 reading first.

Start with 1 ml. per day. On the 3rd day take both reading again.

Is there any drop? If no increase dosage to 2 ml. daily.

On the 7th day (from 1st time you start dosing) take both reading.

Any drop in both?

If no increase dosage to 3ml daily. Check both reading 7 days later.

Any drop? No increase dosage to 4 ml daily.

If any reading start to drop dose half the last dosage after that.

Hope this help

Make sure you running a skimmer if you decide to dose vinegar.

If cynao appear dose bacteria like Bac7 or stability or any other
