SRC Member PaulPaul01 Posted September 29, 2018 SRC Member Share Posted September 29, 2018 Hey guys I recently visited a fellow reefer and noticed his chiller took a very short time to lower his temp about 1 or 2 degrees. Meanwhile my HS 66A takes about 1.5h to lower my temp by 1 degree. What can I do to better increase my chiller's efficiency? Thank you:) It is used at a 4(L)*2.5(H)*1.5(W) tank. SRC Member Schwantz Posted September 29, 2018 SRC Member Share Posted September 29, 2018 What is your flow rate through the chiller? You can try using an external temperature probe to increase stability.Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk

SRC Member Schwantz Posted September 30, 2018 SRC Member Share Posted September 30, 2018 Try increasing the flow rate. That may help too. Your pump after head loss may be producing too low a flow rate.Sent from my CLT-L29 using Tapatalk
