Pls help anemone!

Hi my anemone has been acting weird for a while but now he is all shriveled up and there is weird white things hanging to him what should I do!

Do not know much about anemone. But I had one some years back. Behaved similarly. Tissues deteriorated  slowly. A week or so later, it died. Had to do a large water change. Not sure the same happening to yours .

Would you recommend taking it out and trying to feed it or something?

No harm trying. Best to place it in a separate/quarantine tank. Even if it recovers, it may shed death tissues during the process. Some of your fishes and cleaning crew may consumed them. But still it may spike your parameters.

In my case, I waited too long. You know, wishful thinking.

Earlier he had started to peel off his rock. Now I can’t even find him. Water looks clear though so I don’t think he died.

Week when I was testing my parameters I saw him halfway across my 75 gallon tank looking very bad. Should I tank him out of the tank or put him out of his misery?

Ok my anemone has just fallen face first into the sand so I took him out and put him out of his misery. Thanks for the advice though.

Sorry noob question..what your water temp and ph level? Do you have chiller? My anemone do act like yours but it normal. They will do that curl up or even shrink but will flower/open up back normal size. Do you feed your anemone?

Yes I fed him my temperature is usually 78-79 and ph was 8.1
