Tank crashing

Could be possible ich attack.. ich is opportunistic, dormant but manifests itself when the fish’s immune system is lower.

They tend to be able to fight it off on their own provided they are not stressed & eating well. So as fuzzlesc mentioned above, have them continue eating & monitor water quality. Small water changes can help, not big ones as that would stress your fishes out further.

Hope this helps.. Good luck!

Hi bro as you mentioned it just happened overnight, it may have been cos of a swing in ur parameters. You should check if any of ur things malfunctioned (e.g. auto feeder, refugium light, thermometer, dosing pumps, etc.) My fan broke for my nano 10g last time, and it ended up crashing cos of that.
If it's any of these, restoration of ur params should be good enough for them to get over any stress they experienced. Good luck, should be able to recover.

You mentioned you use chemiclean to combat cyano right? I believe should be this reason, If you never dose correctly this will cause your oxygen and parameter to swing.

You need to on your skimmer during the treatment but removing the skimmer cup so that you tank got enough oxygen. Also to monitor ammonia every 2 hrs to check for spike.

If you fish is still eating healthy, go buy seachem metroplex & focus and add in their food to help combat the ick. If not Dr's G Anti-parasite food also can.

Catch the fish to QT now may stress them further, maybe after they recover a bit then u can move to QT and leave ur main tank fishless for 3 mths.

Gd luck!
