tofubox
Hi I’m using this. The 6k version. It is very quite and controllable. For the price point it’s worth it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote I Love Stagsss
sjrng
I've been using the 12k version. Quiet and no issues so far. If you have other maxspect pumps/lights, can consider getting the ICV6 controller for phone controlling.
SRC Member winston.jazzi Posted June 11, 2019 Author SRC Member Share Posted June 11, 2019 Thank you for responding. I'm having a 4 footer (mixed reef) and height of my return is about 1.7m. Intend to have 2 outputs into the DT. 1 will be direct while the other goes into chiller and UV before hitting the DT.Thinking of removing some wm from DT. Do you think the flow is sufficient? tofubox
Flow should be fine, if your worried, can get the 12k version and just tune down the flow with the controller. Maybe something for you to consider....u can get the 9k turbine duo, and also install another smaller sized return pump plumbed to the chiller using a Y shaped joint. In that way, if either pump fails, u still have redundency. I am about to convert my own 6k to do that. Quote I Love Stagsss
