CarnivorousGhecko 0 Posted August 11 Could the tap water from daily top offs be causing skyhigh KH? I tested it to be 2dKh and it’s been over a month since the 70 gallon was set up and I’m testing it to be at ~14dKh, which is much higher than what I’m shooting for. Currently only dosing Seachem trace elements and haven’t tested calcium either since the only stony coral i currently have is an alveopora.
CarnivorousGhecko 0 Posted August 11 Tap water reads at 2dKh, tank water tested at 14dKh at 0.025 salinity using red sea blue bucket
Clement Chen 56 Posted August 11 Should use rodi or Di water for the top off. If not ur tank is building up whatever is in the tap water and this could lead to problems
