SRC Member Tabungrahim Posted August 29, 2019 SRC Member Share Posted August 29, 2019 Get a chiller better. Used with a temp control. When the temp high the chiller will on when temp low it will off. If u use fan ur water evaporate n u need to auto top up frequently.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SRC Member Kwancy Posted August 29, 2019 SRC Member Share Posted August 29, 2019 You are at the point of no return! Ha.. if electricity is a concern, then this hobby should be for you bro. Will need a lot of electricity to run other stuffs! Wavemaker, skimmer, blah blah blah.. I tried using the fan initially, but given up. The amount of water TOP up Everyday is just ridiculous
SRC Member Kwancy Posted August 29, 2019 SRC Member Share Posted August 29, 2019 I meant “shouldn’t” instead of should. If you are into marine tank.. just don’t think too much about the electricity! Cost of corals/fishes.. addictives and supplements.. these will be the real killer
SRC Member KJH Posted August 29, 2019 Author SRC Member Share Posted August 29, 2019 Thanks for all the inputs yah I am already at the point of no return. SRC Member Kwancy Posted August 29, 2019 SRC Member Share Posted August 29, 2019 If you intend to do this for long term.. just get a higher spec chiller
SRC Member Kwancy Posted August 29, 2019 SRC Member Share Posted August 29, 2019 Surely will upgrade.. 56litre is too much effort and harder to maintain. Water parameter can change quickly.
SRC Member Kwancy Posted August 29, 2019 SRC Member Share Posted August 29, 2019 If don’t intend to upgrade anytime soon.. Teco 150 will do
SRC Member KJH Posted August 31, 2019 Author SRC Member Share Posted August 31, 2019 Teco is out of my Budget. Sadly. i am looking at hailea hc-100 and hailea 28a any feedback?
tofubox
Hailea chillers generally worked well for me. Have not used it past 2 year mark though. But while i had it, i didn't have any issues. Would recommend the HS28a if you getting. Its quieter. Quote I Love Stagsss
