shawnlimjq
Hi, Do you guys store salt water in a drum with power head? Was thinking of storing it like that with chaeto and then using the it for water change when needed. Thanks Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
SRC Member Fjdam Posted October 29, 2019 SRC Member Share Posted October 29, 2019 Its best to use freshly mixed saltwater than storing. Kh may drop over period of time. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

mok777
Why chaeto? Freshly mixed saltwater don't have any organics and nutrients the chaeto will die off. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

Either way, unless it’s a very resilient(nice way of calling it stubborn lol) algae, most need a decent light source to thrive Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
