SRC Member SunkistC Posted July 7, 2020 SRC Member Share Posted July 7, 2020 Think ZERO Nitrate and Phosphate is not good especially you are keeping mainly LPS. Try to maintain NO3 at around 5 ppm and PO4 at around 0.03. Lack of nutrients can cause colour lost in corals. I used Seachem Flourish Nitrogen and Phosphorous to increase the nutrients in a controlled manner when my nutrients hit near zero, my corals coloured up after dosing. SRC Supporter SubzeroLT Posted July 7, 2020 SRC Supporter Share Posted July 7, 2020 Agree with SunkistC on zero nitrates & phosphates being a bad thing in a closed aquarium. One quick way is to feed more meaty foods (eg mysis cubes or chopped prawns) to raise nitrate/phosphate to the suggested levels. Zof
Thank You All Shifu for advice. I have moved to a shallow area under 30par and feed it every day. Also, reduced the hour of light to 6hour in my refugium to bring up the no3 and po4 Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
