hey culture fanatics! i've read up on other sites that it maybe possible to culture GREEN water from aged tank water..... Possible? :huh:

Seems possible. Just use a pure strain culture for initial innoculation and make sure you have enough phosphates and other necessary nutrients in the water to fuel their growth? ;)

Always something more important than fish.

:huh: erm..... think they don use any strain wor.... just scope water from tank..... leave under sunlight or strong lightings... whoa la! GREEN water! Dun know whether true or not? <_<

u know... i was just thinking.. why dont we use the stuff collected from our protein skimmer to feed the plankton? hahahha... since its all nutrients inside.
