SRC Member shootsimon Posted January 18, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted January 18, 2006 Hi all. I'm here to disclose how some people wins a bid and I hope noboby is using this method in SRC. Well as you all know bidding will start with an amount lets say $10. So those who wants to bid will slowly add on. Say that guy A wants to win this bid and not wanting to pay higher than $50, he gets guy B (a friend or using another nick) to bid ridculas high price say $100. So with this nobody wants to compete already and the seller puts guy B as 1st in line and guy A as 2nd inline so if guy B back out guy A will win the bid. Hope you guys can understand my england here So the moral of the story is that if you see if bidding shoot up by the next bid, there might be something fishy This is just my tot. I'm not flaming anyone but want all to be fair when it comes to bidding
olezontie
That's a good way to win. How come I never thought about this...
SRC Member cityofangels Posted January 18, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted January 18, 2006 This happens in Ebay, as well. But in Ebay, you can leave negative comments for the seller/buyer if the sale did not go smoothly.
blueheaven
I personally dislike bidding for items Unless it's a charity auction, I'll not put a bid onto anything And bidding here may cause some problems with the LFS who may think we are willing to pay ridiculous prices for common things. So what they'll do is to jack up the prices of their stuff and the person who loses is the reefer Well, just my thoughts on bidding Quote But if you tame me, we shall need each other.
