I notice my overflow hv lots of slimy stuff or algae! Is it necessary to clean the overflow box? I hv a center chamber where I place my OR pump to achieve circulation within my main tank. Will there be potential that this center chamber to the culprit of my high NO3?

:thanks:

Not unless there's something dead in there like a fish. It's a good refugium. Pods thrive among the algae.
