Solo77
thanks for the advice and sharing. In reefing, personally i think there is no strict rule. Using dead rock because i don't have to have bristleworm in my tank.....but this also mean longer cycling time unless pump $$ into the tank to speed the process....lol. Solo77
hehe. haven, last week completed the downstream pipes....this monday will be doing the return.....short of few elbow but later found and gotten from the supplier. today the chiller was setup and tested. I have cut the return pipes and glue them this coming monday. Durso pipe done, will have 2 and will attach a valve control at the top to adjust the water level. For the return, as adviced by my friend, drilled a hole and inserted the valve to allow future aclimatising of fishes. As my tank is external overflow, the sump was placed below it incase leak. Had done a separate DB to support the tank to ensure tripping risk. Now got to study how to setup CR, KW reactor, placement of wave maker, controller, etc. Will seek your help if needs be....lol. Saw your post that your tank is stable. .....so think wil see you chiong also....hahaha. Solo77
bro, setup good doesnt mean much....think most importantly is the effort, that one must learn from you...hehe. anyway, cabinet slowly up......did the scape....put in grade 1 sand...then top layer put shell, etc. wave makers put in....but only tested vortec. scaping incomplete as will be recycling some old rocks....did the egg crate to cover the tank for wrasse.....use those plastic wire mesh to cover the overflow to ensure no small fishes will go into the overflow....
