SRC Member LaW Posted February 10, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted February 10, 2010 2 school of thoughts. it depend on which side u take. Quote If a man could beat his own fantasy. SRC Member arcanehacker Posted February 11, 2010 SRC Member Share Posted February 11, 2010 Excellent skimmer I must say.. used this model for 2+ yrs already.. still going strong as ever.. There is no water height requirements for this.. dump it in the sump and run the pumps.. you only need to control the level via the ball valve once.. then you only need to fine tune the air intake valve.. Does wet and dry skimmate.. As much as there are controversial reefer based findings, there is no such thing as overskimming IMO. Always good to skim out as much unwanted waste.. I'm currently running this and a A110 in a ~180Gal . I'd say get it if it fits.. Quote Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth? Solo77
understand from someone who used this skimmer before and later changed to other skimmer, the review was this skimmer can skim more things and on daily basis...as compared to some new skimmers....thought looks impressive but doesnt skim out thing that fast..........and best is it is stable and not affected by water level which can be irritating at times...... Something cannot buy once production stop, especially good proven skimmer. Upz yr sales.
