Any idea why my sps especially my birdnest are starting to be covered with brown/green algae slim?

Bro Eniram, i encounter the same problem with my BN and digi few months ago.

I believe this is due to direct flow from my MP40.

Wat i do is shift the sps away from the direct flow and it works.

Constant direct flow will prevent the polyps to be fully opened thus algae will take this opportunity to grow.

Redirected the flow and brown algae totally gone now
