  1. I am against xenia for such a small tank like yours. Xenia can be such a pest which lead some people to break down their tank. I usually add skimmer in nano when the tank is around 6 months old to reduce water changes because at that time LARS usually set in. I think you better upgrade the light to AI prime or maxspect razor nano since these lights will made the corals pop with colors. After all we spent such a huge amount of money to made our tank look nice and nobody like brown corals. This is my 20 g with AI prime and you can really see the different colors in corals. 2. It's a good thing to increase bioload slowly. But in some case like clownfish, I like to introduce pairs which is quite a big bioload for a small tank like yours. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Did you use shrimp method with fishless cycling? It is no use measuring if you did not add any food or shrimp cause live rock can handle small amount of ammonia. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. This thread reminds me of how i started reefing. I made the same mistakes as you like using tapwater, poor lighting, internal filter with sponge and using bioballs which attribute to high nitrate and cyano outbreak. I even have the similar tank with internal overflow sump. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
