Nice to more and more people going into FOWLR tank. How about wave maker? It is also important to have in a FOWLR tank. My tank is a bare bottom tank, easier to maintain. Temperature : I have a chiller but set it to very high about 30C.

There are a few operators in the market... Price range from $500 - $700 for Open Water... I personally believe that the foundation is the most important part when you pick-up scuba, not the price. I have been diving for the past 20 odd years with more then 1000 dives under my belt. Best advise I can give is for you to do your research and try to get as much information on the instructor.
