  1. Is still an effort and some might willing to pay. Like I said before, willing buyer and willing seller. How about those who buy corals with intent to frag and sell with profit? Isn't this the same logic behind? Buy a rock of yumas for less than $30, frag out each yumas and sell at least $20 each. Or any red or green people eater zoa, buy a big piece and frag out to sell, etc. Was also amused to hear funny story like a kind seller sold an equipment at cheap price to a buyer. Buyer bought without testing. Few days later, buyer feedback to seller, said got problem with the equipment. Seller offered to collect and pay back, but buyer counter proposed to send for repair and want seller to top up if necessary. So if the seller sold the equipment for $10, he may end up paying $100 or more for the repair cost. Anyway, just reef on and enjoy the hobby.

  4. Last Saturday I engaged SGbros to help move my tank over to my house. I was quite shocked to see only 2 person came over to carry such a heavy tank. They did a really good job and affordable pricing. Totally recommend for people who wish to move their tank. BACK BREAKING JOB ! 1) Went to soak all my equipments in a vinegar for 24hours and wash thoroughly with tap water to get rid all of the algae and sand. 2) Bleached all my rocks. Bleach -> Scrub -> Rinse -> Sundry -> Vinegar soak -> Scrub -> Rinse -> Sundry before putting it into the tank. Took a day off to visit Hai Cheong Plastic (Kallang outlet), Prestech and Sim Lim Square. Gotten a lot of PVC pipe at an affordable price because I’m intending to change all the piping for the tank. Went Prestech directly to consult on the light stand because I can’t drill it on my walls this time round so I have to design it to fit behind my cabinet. Went over to Sim Lim Square to get a replacement fan for my ATI. Some shops selling bigger size fan but you need to ask around to get the exact size. (Tip: bring along your fan) I took around 5 minutes to change one fan out. Beware of the 2 rubbers on the side because I broke one due to pulling too hard. Once the rubber break, the fan won’t sit in the hole properly. It will be shaky so becareful. C0D5D4D4-5D81-4BA4-B7CC-425F06CB5433.MOV I reused back his gate valve and replaced the rusty screws. Next up ill I’ll show you guys my piping my light tank!

  6. Hey fellow reefers. I’ve a few mangrove shoots for sale. Utilizing mangrove plants for filtration in a saltwater aquarium, particularly for helping to reduce and control nitrates, is not a new concept. It has been around for quite some time, but few aquarists have known much about it. Any would like to explore or are looking for a natural method of filtration for their aquariums? Can give this a try. $20 for 1 shoot mangroves in the wild naturally grow in mud, it is not essential for their growth. They can be grown very efficiently in a sump, refugium, or directly in an aquarium. Fed by absorbing nutrients and organic materials from the water, live mangroves naturally create a filter for cleaning water. https://www.thesprucepets.com/using-mangroves-for-nitrate-reduction-2921269 Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
