  1. Appalling ! If that seller had advertised this tank as "in good condition" or anything to such effect, I think any reasonable person would be as disappointed as you are ! Plainly dishonest.

  2. Nano Ladder update! After another batch of failed prototypes, the nano ladder is ready! It is identical to the regular size in function, except with one tier less and shortened height for nano tanks. This one’s going for $15 if anyone’s interested! clownfish not included! PM for enquiries!!

  4. You can refer to this guide as a general reference. Part 2 will be published this week. Corals need cool water in the 26-28Deg C (in general). Corals also don't like drastic temperature or water parameter fluctuations. Ideally you have a small chiller. Depending on where the tanks is located, some can get away with a cooling fan, but take note you will have a tremendous amount of evaporation which is troublesome to manage. Corals need nutrients in the water to survive. Part of it comes naturally from fish poop/waste. So if only have corals with no live stock, you need to supplement this manually

  5. For the lights on this tank, i went with hybrid T5 and leds. Got my Aquatic life hybrid fixture and decided to use them with my Hydra 26hd. As of now, only two blue bulbs and one hydra is running on the tank. As my other hydra is still on my old tank as i have not moved the corals yet. And as for the other t5 bulbs, the color i want was not in stock. Hence only 2 for now. As there was no way that i could mount my lights on the ceiling or the wall i mount them on the back of the tank using the aquatic life universal hanger fixture. What made it worse was when i wanted to drill the fixture in i did not have enough clearance to drill the fixture in. And the tank was filled so cant be moved too. No choice needed to drill it in a weird angle to make do. So far the fixture seems steady. Hoping for the best. Had a long day will continue to update as i can.

  8. Following is the latest test result which shows good progress of the cycling where Ammonia is depleting and both Nitrite and Nitrate is edging up. Looking forward to achieve the following to be consider as completion of the cycling process: 1. Ammonia < 0.2 ppm or 0 2. Nitrite < 0.2 ppm or 0 Above to be the desire result one day after 2 ppm ammonia is added Will then do a 50% of water change and monitor for another week before add two clown fish to the cycled tank.
