  1. Visite;Www.captainwebgenesis.com Hello everyone, I wish to share this information with the public . It’s advisable not to trade with an individual or a bitcoin investment platform if you are not sure about their reputation. A few months back, I was seeking an investment opportunity but I ended up being scammed of $187,000 in Bitcoins. I was depressed and disappointed in myself until an article popped up about Captain WebGenesis, a cryptocurrency recovery company that helps scam victims get back their lost or stolen Crypto, and to my surprise, they were able to recover almost all the funds I had lost. I’m sharing this out of excitement as I know there are many people out there who must have had an encounter with these swindlers. You can reach them on (Captainwebgenesis@hackermail.com)

  6. Good day reefers, well time really flies and my reefer 350 has reach the 3rd year milestone. Really enjoyed this journey and been thru many ups and downs, more downs i would say lol [emoji23]. Killed tons of corals and waste alot $$ but which hobby dont waste $$? Reefing is a very rewarding hobby and it will never cease to be boring as reef tank always got daiji one, be it equipment failure, pests, unknown coral/fish deaths, dreaded brown jelly disease, Famous STN and RTN bros, Regardless of all the problems, seeing your fish and corals doing its thing is like having a piece of mother nature in your own home, really takes the stress away and helps to calm me down. Some pictures (with orange filter) to mark this milestone, hopefully many more milestones to go! [emoji4] Thanks for reading and happy reefing! Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  9. Was sourcing for Marco rocks but was out of stock in Singapore. Contacted the friendly peeps at RMS and learned that they carry in STAX rocks which are flat rocks cut out from Marco. After 3-4hours of sniffing liquid glue and sand, satisfied with my current scape. Gave myself a pat on the back

  15. Used to have lots of bubble tip anemones in the tank but they tended to split quite often. The need to reach the babies and peel them off was too much of a hassle. In any case, this is an old photo from many many years ago. Saw many nice anemones being sold recently - red/purple/green haddoni carpets. And others with fancyy names such as black widow, sunburst, acid rain etc. Hesitated for a while as there was a need to move a lot of corals around to create enough space for an anemone. And also the risk and fear of it not liking the intended location. Finally added a haddoni carpet a few weeks ago. So far it has stayed put in the rock structure I put together from a couple of spare rocks lying around. Expoxied a small fist sized structure for the foot to sit in. This porcelein crab moved house from its original rock flower anemone (75cm away) to the carpet anemone one night. Big home upgrade indeed.

  19. Top View from 10 months ago. After some ups and downs this past year with KH spikes and dips, and battling cyano, things have largely stabilised and reef is recovering nicely. Experienced some STN and lost several colonies along the way. Survivors doing well again and seeing decent growth and good colour. Now, simply enjoying the tank and reef as it continues to mature ❤.

  26. Just wanted to share my success on training a Mandarin Fish to feed on frozen food. The frozen food acts as a supplement to allow time for my copepods to breed and not be scavenged by the predator. I will train my Mandarin once or twice a week with a glass jar filled with mysis and bloodworms alongside with pellets. My Mandarin surely can't resist the temptation to check out and explore the gold mine.

  34. The 125G is just over a year now. Here's a FTS of the reef at 12 months. Being sps dominant, stable water parameters are a must. Ample light and flow too. I try to keep things as simple as possible. I run the Balling method and auto dose the major and minor elements. Aside from that, I have filter wool replaced weekly in acrylic sock holders, a large protein skimmer, and a refugium with chaeto that I prune monthly. There's a small 13W UV pump in the sump as well. 10% weekly water changes. I introduced beneficial bacteria from the start to get the tank seeded and cycled. Regular dosing (every other week) of bacteria helps to keep nitrates and phosphates in check too, especially when bioload is elevated. Auto water top-up is gravity fed and controlled with a float valve. Fish are fed a pellets, flake, freeze-dried black worms and/or nori once or twice daily. Corals get amino acids.

  43. Turning the (Red)Tide Dosing of silicate encouraged diatom to bloom; and in turn, drive amphidiniun slowly out of business. After a month of silicate dosing, the amount of amphidium is much less. Even detritus sample from the sand contains much less cells than before. This is the image of bits of detritus. A large number of diatom cells can be seen. Dino? Not so much. A 400x image confirmed the cells are indeed diatoms. Macroscopically, it doesn't look much different than before. Afterall, diatoms are brown. But I'm certain the red tide has turned. Given time, amphidinium would be completely suppressed.

  45. Been awhile since updated Recently got him a girlfriend, cohabitation on the first nite, fast game [emoji23] Recently alot pests, pls dont expect ur LFS to ensure pest free, onus is always on the buyer. Introducing my Advanced Coral Inspection System (ACIS) [emoji38] 1. Reef dip = Red sea DipX 2. Magnifying glass to see pest and eggs 3. Car handphone holder (not sure wats it call) 4. Iphone to provide bright lights and timer for 15 min dip, (any handphone will do [emoji13]) 5. turkey baster to blast the dip solution at infected coral 6. Ikea 2liter Tub, very good for dip as transparent and sufficient height for larger colony 7. Maxspect tongs (useful tongs as wont rust) 8. Clean tank water for washing coral after dip; u dont want the dip to go inside ur tank as dips are harmful to inverts. My torch previously infected by euphyllia eating flatworms, look at huge chunk of meat kenna eaten… If ur corals kenna infected by watever pest, remember one dip is never enough, remember to inspect for eggs. Search and Destroy. QT and multi dips. Some photos by Olympus TG camera, underwater picture and outside handphone camera still got difference i tink Last but not least, very interesting coral on the internet [emoji23] Thats it folks! Thanks for reading and happy reefing! Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  47. His name is Rashid on SRC, i do hope he can come up and clarify himself if he feels that there is any form of accusations. I am personally a friend of Flowy so take it with a pinch of salt that what i am about to say might be biased. However, from what i have read about their conversation, it was fair to say that the chiller was only bought from Rashid for about 2 weeks . Flowy posted awhile ago he was looking for 1/4 or 1/3HP chiller and, Rashid Pm him saying that he had one for sale which is about 2 years old and stating he was the first user (take note of the *first user*) Flowy then went down and check that the condition of the chiller was running. However when he brought home, he did not have time to set it up as he was in NS. He then later engaged Sam Zhang from aquanautics to service the chiller as he felt that it was dirty and a little "worn out". Sam later stated that this was nearly a 10 year old chiller (nonetheless flowy still bought it because flowy thought it was working). However when they tried running the Chiller on the tank, it was apparent that the compressor was not able to kick in i.e. to say that it was broken, i may be wrong but i have 100% certainty to say that Sam would not have spoilt the chiller. And Rashid also then said, he was not the first user (contridicting no?) (years of the chiller doesn't matter but does it not seem he has an integrity issue?) Yes there might be a chance he have dropped it while transporting it, but he took a grab from rashid place and it was only a 5mins drive. FYI all of this was under his own cost (getting Sam to come and grabbing from rashid place.) Yes i have read their conversation personally, and i do agree flowy is rather harsh and did say that he wants to launch a police report but is it wrong?, it was his hard earned money too, but of course the police won't be intrested in such cases, hence he launched a small claim tributal claim (yes it might not be much money to some of you, but he is only an NSF, he really doesn't earn much and have been saving quite long for a properly sized chiller) Anyways at the end of the day it is our words against his, so if Rashid has anything to say, please voice out and enlighten us, because from his tone, he was not even apologetic nor sincere in finding out what happen all flowy got was , "it has been 2 weeks, anything could have happened". Anyways SRC you guys can be the judge of this matter and Rashid if you are reading this, grow up and have the courage to admit when you are wrong. Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app

  48. Yellow filter photos. Some love it. Some hate it. It provides a better representation of colors of certain corals we see under blue light that is typically not possible to photograph. At times it over exaggerates the fluorescent colors of LPS. Coral fluorescence is determined by the glow (or scientifically called "expression") of green fluorescent like proteins (GFPs). Even though the name says Green Florescent Proteins, they come in various colors - from cyan to red & yellow. Quick google research suggests that fluorescent proteins (FPs) are reported to play an important role as photo-protectants and antioxidants in corals subjected to stressful temperature conditions. That is, to act as a screen to protect the algal symbionts (zooxanthellae). GFPs have peak emissions around the 485nm range. OK....anything more is beyond my level of understanding. Let's just enjoy some pictures instead. White light (no yellow filter) vs Blue light (with yellow filter) comparison. No color enhancement via photoshop. Other pics with yellow filter (no photoshop) Miyagi Tort (frag previously from Mike Stone) Frag previously from Vik Hosting this pectinia for a friend
