You should actually go back to the seller and check with him. Anyway, it is likely due to the flow rate and yours might be too fast for the maximum contact between water and resin. How big is your di unit? If it's those industrial kind, you can actually plug your pump to the filter and cycle the water in your bathtub.

Bro... why not you just report him to the police... the previous pm and sms with him helps in the investigations and i believe this kind of ppl deserve to be punished... anyway if i'm not wrong every form of electronic message can be considered as a contract and what he's doing now is illegal... once a guy trick me on purchasing a faulty game and within 2 days after reporting to the police that guy immediatly sms me to pass me back my money...
