I've old batch of resun CL450 running 24hrs a day for almost 2 year leow.so far no servicing yet but working perfect. i think resun is a budgeted chiller with reasonable working performance.. Sometime buying electricial product also depend on luck, nobody can garantee the branded product wouldn't breakdown that why manufacturer warranty come in incase of such problem... For me, i think Resun still reliable and also budgeted.. I'll still choose Resun if i'm going to upgrade my tank in future...

I think U should try using UV sterlizer and garlic LS's food! I also have Ich problem when one Blue Tang is added into my tank 3 month ago . I have bought many of ich medicine but none of them work so i decided to buy UV sterlizer (kill the floating parasite) and of cause garlic food must be supplied together( build up the LS's immunity). Surprisely, all the ichness gone within two weeks. -- "my personnel experience"

i've used Resun CL450 for more 1 year, so far so good.( trouble-free) It able to cool down my 4x2x2 tank to 26~27 degree without any problem. A good chiller doesn't mean that it must be expensive & branded and Branded/expensive chiller also doesn't mean that it will be reliable. Nobody can guarantee expensive chiller wouldn't breakdown? may be due to manufacturer defect (that why 1 year warranty provided)? To me, i personally feel that Resun chiller is good in term of price, and i'm happy with the performance so far.

There is an aircon blower at last roll of seat for 2.0 Litre, but for 1.7Litre, it isn't Performance :--- Honda still the best..

Hi weisoon, Thanks.. I will go there this coming Sat.. terryansimon, I use it to create a plenum in my main tank. Normally, ppl use egg crate with pvc pipe. I felt that this solid black plastic divider can withstand the weight of the LR in the long run and it also provide better water flow. Of course, it need mesh/net to cover on top of it to prevent the sand drop into it.
