  8. Bro Martian is right. Increase WC will definitely helps, but battling with algae issue need patient. Sea urchin are excellent help. Live rock are possible source of nutrient leak. How big is your tank anyway? If you have ich issue, is good to stop adding fishes. Fish die, decay, nutrient spike, more algae. Run UV light if necessary, will kill ich. As for your snail, did you acclimatize them properly?
  9. Sand dollar are excellent sand shifting flat anemone, you usually wouldn't see them at work cause they are buried in the sand. I feel they are more hard working then sand shifting star. Got it from Henry, ML

  12. Why not? Got mine from eBay too. Think about it most of the stuff is now from China. Refractometer isn't rocket science technology. You can compare it with existing equipment you are using too.

  14. Yup, did you get live rock? Any decaying matter that is causing your ammonia to spike. Is good to dose bacteria when cycling new tank and even mature tank to grow the bacteria colony and replace them.
