      Everything I know today is courtesy of those who care to share viz. the trickle filter via George Smit,ph and alkanity via Randy Holmes, keeping chaeto via Anthony Calfo,the natural system via Lee Chin Eng and the ATS via Santa Monica, just to name a few. Others like Ron Shimek's DSB, Leng Sy's miracle mud plus Jaubert's three-tiered method (a motorised version of undergravel filtration); I'd also tried but they didn't work for me. That's why I spent so much time on this hobby!

    After 11 years in reefing, maybe it's time to quit and switch to other cheaper and less time consumed hobby....sigh!

      N even created ur own led light set which is highly commendable.

      Reconsider'cos urs truly's bin in this since 1984.

      There's a lot of challenges out there.

    In the past, this forum was damn useful. Those laojiao will share their true exp and pass down to newbies. Nowadays the laojiao will keep quiet while newbies will read from web n teach other newbies. Exp is only earned from reefing, not by reading off the web.

      Many sinjiao also give up 'cos sudden mass wipeout too painful on the pockets. Many laojiao lost touch with progress. I'd go with the new system; which emphasize usage of ALGAE.
