Was told by an expert. Never dose anything that u can't measure into your tank.... unless you are very sure of what you are doing. :-)

Are you using digital PH meter? Most digital PH meter needs calibration out of box.

Hi Mlee, Check how's your Red slime algae problem? If there are no coral in your tank, you may try the Algone red Slime algae remover, I had it once in my tank and after adding Algone into my tank, Voila... all is gone in 1 week time and never been back since. However, I do stress that proper housekeeping in reducing the PO4 and NO2/3 in the long run will eventually eliminate this problem permanently. Was told that Red slime is a process in maturing of tank and that all tank will get it eventually (oni key is when), Reckon your tank shld be abt 6mth to 1 yr? Hope this helps. Regards, kangster

thks, is aware of the better skimming perf. of tunze9002 as compared to the RSM stock. However, understand that the backlid cannot be closed once I do the skimmer switch, thus is still keeping the option open. thks once again for the advice and info, :-)

Yo bro, thks for the kind info... but think Bro Grover is selling the whole RSM setup... me looking for the skimmer pump only. Else order new skimmer pump must wait(oredi check with Aquamarin and PetMart liaoz). thks once again, cheers!
