wouldnt recommend introducing creatures to take care of the algae. stick with maintaining balanced water parameters first.

Cyno bacteria are one of the hardest bacteria to eradicate from they have taken a foot hold on your tank. I have had 2 such encounters in my past 3 years of this hobby. Eryomythcin works but you tend to end up breeding "resistance" strands after a while. "

i usually use sponge (non-scratch) to remove algae from the glass.
