me have keep flame 3 times and totally not reef safe especially on sps coral they like to nip encrusting monti polyp the most but never kill any sps until the end if keep it for long term just all sps without polyp only ...

bartletts will turn very aggressive after long keep & no more schooling too so out of my list haha ... me like the behavior of schooling anthias they make the tank looks more LIVE so im not going for nice or colorful anthias but just schooling anthias ... my tank now have 3 tiger queen oni & me from Penang here really difficult to get my wishlist ...

feeding twice daily will do ... i like schooling type anthias ie: dispar or purple queen last time but my new tank now me looking for those schooling anthias tat me no success to keep last time : tiger queen, evansi, sunset, flame etc ...

anthias need live food to maintain their nice color so me daily hatch brine shrimp egg feeding or their color will become fading after long keep in tank ... new anthias need feed many time daily cos usually come very skinny but after few weeks they become fat just feeding twice a day with pellet or frozen food will do ... keeping anthias is not difficult but control water quality is the oni problem haha my tank always ultra high nutrient tank ...

your tank need more anthias ... me have keep more than 70 anthias in my old 4 footer long time ago so your 6 footer need more haha ...

hey wait ... hypo should be 1.009 not 0.009 ... hypo not easy to take care cause pH easily drop & kill fish need measure pH & kH very often and many fish kenot tolerate in hypo especially madarin, unicorn etc from my experience ...

yes ... me using Skimz SM251 & SK251 for my 1800L tank but SM251 doing better and SK251(cone) most of the time skim nothing ... if I turn off SM251 than SK251 will do all the job skimming crazily ... both skimmer rated for 3000L tank so consider overskim but when I feeding crazily NO3 still go very high 40~80ppm even running with SR but PO4 at 0.1~0.2 with rowaphos ...

My tank heavily cover by white spot more than 4 months especially those ich magnet AT, powder blue/black/brown etc but all fish still doing well because lazy to catch all out for QT & let the main tank empty for 9 weeks some more my QT is not able to handle so many fishes so decide to give reef safe medication a try... tested on Polylab Medic & Pridibio Velvet & Spot before but no success ... tested on Microlift Herbtana after 10 days treatment the white spot have reduce to more than half so decide to continue 2nd treatment & after another 10 days white spot reduce to very very little only so go for 3rd treatment another 10 days & it cure but some sps rtn due to 30 days without running a skimmer ... me feel that all kind of reefsafe medication will able to work but need to treat it when u 1st found very little spot on fish body, if fishes long term fully covered by white spot is not easy to cure or take longer time ...

If remember correctly my green chromis have lay egg on my LR long time ago and the egg hatch after 3 day but they take care the egg so no fish is eating the egg or i no see any other fishes is interesting to eat the egg too ...

feeding few types of pellet 2~3 times daily, frozen brine & mysis 5 cubes 1~2 time daily, dry brine shrimp 1~2 time daily ... never change sulphur bead just add it cos it will become smaller & smaller ... add about 1~2 years once ...

for FOT or QT go for copper ... for REEF tank try Microlift Herbtana ...

mine is a ultra heavy feeding tank but NP biopellet is useless for me ... me running sulphur now the best nitrate reducer but the low ph affected kH drop in main tank so need kalk drip daily ... I have 2x oversize skimmer running but my nutrient still at very high side ... have try prodibio & brightwell carbon dosing but useless too ... dun think any carbon dosing can bring down nutrient level for a heavy feeding tank to ultra low level ...

usually when feeding frozen food or pellet food, skimmer will stop skimming for a while & not overflow, this is something different ... reef gels or mysis make your skimmer overflow?

difficult lar ... but look like the polyp still growing on the plug not yet grow onto the LR yet so just remove the plug 1st & try remove the polyp by scalpel or tweezer ...

carbon dosing is totally useless for a heavy feeding tank ... my duncan fully open inside my PO4@0.34 & NO3@80 water without a problem ...

The very big n nice halfmoon angel from TFC display tank already go into KL reefer tank last year haha but rarely can see this fish from redsea shipment now a day ...

your tank always so nice & clean ...

This look like a bad polyp tat will spread your whole tank & kill some of the smaller type zoa in future just beware ...
