  1. i have this fish in my tank, just bought today, i think its promfet, but dunno wad type leh... anyone know the basic requirement of this fish?
  2. wah, nice tank bro. but i do advise u to be careful of flamers lor. u dun know how how i was flamed when i had 13 fishes in a 2.5 ft tank. but its a really good job. but a word of advice. damsels grow more aggressive as they grow older. so watch those cuties k?
  3. as i said, how big is ur intended tank? if its like 2footer, then u should have single breed, or have them like 1 inch big. but if its like 3footer, u can try to keep several species.
  4. how big is the tank first? like, are u intending on getting all same breed, or all different breed.
  5. but he sure wont win, cos the ppl who vote for talent will be voting for the other person, so he will nvr win... finally some justice in the voting system.
  6. i haf an uncle who is breeding discus. drop me ur needs and info in a PM and i'll let him noe.
  7. they do take iso, juz that some dun. i read that somewhere, but i forgot where liao
  8. currently its in reborn and iwarna, ML says that he is carrying too many phyto products liao, but if u can convince him then mebbe he would wanna accept, go reborn lah, much nearer for u.
  9. not very true. it is even higher on the setchi stick than DT's... if nvr rmb wrongly its at 2.5cm mark while DT is at 1+cm mark. u cant compare it to DT too, since the size and the organism is diff size, but on a whole, i think that DT's is much more worth it than AQ. not only that, if i'm not wrong, the main ingredient of AQ is the phyto type: iso. iso is usually more effective for culturing artemia and rotifers. DT's however on the other hold, contain nano, which is used for a larger variety of things. if i'm not wrong, i read somewhere that some corals cant take in iso, but can take in nano, forgot why liao... i think they will still manufacture DT's, since its definitely more economical and used for a wider variety. plus, i heard its raking in a lot from sales... so i highly doubt DT would stop culturing... but if they do, i think FAFUSA might wanna consider selling liquid phyto...
  10. PM me if u wanna know my sincere opinion on it. i dun wanna say here, later kanna flame.
  11. the funny thing abt LPSs are that everyone ASSUMES that they take phyto, AKA DT's, but i cant stress enuff that the only type of LPS that takes it is alveopora dn goniopora
  12. i'm 101% sure this doesnt feed on phyto. try GP(golden pearls) or manual feeding of shrimp meat.
  13. love is something that is seriously very interesting. u know u're in love when u keep thinking of someone, u're also smitten and u really haf a strong desire to be with that person. but love can only be present when u FEEL that u understand her. and that u THINK u wanna be with her.
  14. robin, DT's not for LPS lor...
  15. yup, this type. i had four the last time. and their belly changes color according to the color of their anemone. males are territorial. they will fight, but females very cute, shake their asses very hard.
  16. my pincushion aka tuxedo urchin if i'm not wrong...
  17. i beg to differ. when i added anemone shrimps the last time, it got my anemones expanding and staying planted to its spot. but however it got eaten by my dilectis after it craved for seafood. perhaps something is wrong with the water.
  18. yup! kelp works really well. i always put my tang in a tank full of kelp for few days till they start feeding on other food, else they will starve.
  19. juz saw the red mandarin eating Frozen BS, OMG!!! and i was told that it was feeding like that since 2 months back... i think after a few months, they juz adapt and feed on BS, without any weaning methods, but pods are STILL critical part of their original part, and will continue to be its staple diet.
